As someone who loves a good side hobby, I wanted to create a mini mod that allows your Sims to have their own! PlumbPod Podcasts allows your Sim to have a mini podcast hobby, all the while making some simoleons on the side. Your Sim will also have the opportunity to gain fame!

Accessing Podcast Interactions:

You can find the general Podcast, pie menu on any computer. This is where all of the general interactions will be. When you open this pie menu, you will find three other menus that allow you to register your podcast, choose your podcast type, and access other podcast interactions.

Registering Your Podcast:

You will have the option to choose two (2) podcast subscriptions. Basic Subscription (§20) or the Premium Subscription (§50) if you want your Sim to spend an extra few Simoleons. Note: These subscriptions are simply for gameplay features and will not impact your ability to create podcasts!

Choosing a Podcast Type:

Your Sim will have the opportunity to choose from twelve (12) podcast types. This includes:

• Beauty Podcaster
• Movie Podcaster
• Conspiracy Theorist Podcaster
• Health and Wellness Podcaster
+ more

Your Sim will receive a trait after they choose their preferred podcast type. The good news is that your Sim can choose as many podcast types as they like. (i.e. You can be a beauty and lifestyle podcaster!) See a few examples below:

Hosting a Podcast:

There are THREE (3) ways your Sim can host a podcast:

• A Computer
• The Camera and tripod (if you own the Moschino Stuff Pack)
• The Stationary Cameras (comes with the Get Famous Expansion Pack)

If you use the stationary cameras for your podcast, your Sim will need to STAND. However, if you use the tripod camera from the Moschino pack, your Sim will be able to sit. ALSO, if your Sim uses the computer to host a podcast, they can sit ANYWHERE, even if it's not in the same room as the computer. (the sofa, the floor, a chair, even outside)
Your Sim will take approximately 30mins - 1 hour to record the podcast. Afterwards, they will receive a random custom buff. See two examples below:

Paid Podcasts:
PlumbPod will pay your Sim §1000 for every podcast they upload. However, your Sim can only do this ONCE a day. Your Sim will also gain fame each time they upload a podcast episode.

Podcast Interactions:

I also created a few interactions in the case that your Sim wants to invite another Sim onto their podcast. Yes, your Sim will still be able to host their podcast and complete these interactions simultaneously! Once you click on the Sim, you will see the Podcast Interactions pie menu.

Under this pie menu, you can find the Host Interactions. NOTE: Your Sim will need to register for a podcast first before they can access this. A few of these interactions come with custom buffs and notifications, but NOT all.

NOTE: These interactions work better when your Sim host their podcasts on the tripod camera. It can still technically work on the stationary cameras, but NOT on the computer.
