Please read instructions CAREFULLY.

Because this career is active, PLEASE ensure that you have your follow messages enabled in the career panel. If not, you will not be able to follow your Sim to law school. Also ensure that you actually PLACE the medical school lot down before your Sim goes to work.

Placing the Law School:

You will need either Zerbu's Venues OR Basemental's Venue List for the law school to show up. As you are placing the build, ensure that you select the Law School lot type.

Hours, Levels, Pay

This career comes with only four (4) levels that represent three years of law school, and a J.D. Graduate level. It is meant to act as a prep career for your Sims before they enter the Law career. Once your Sim reaches level 4, they will receive a Degree in Language and Literature. Similar to my medical school student mod, this career is unpaid; meaning you will have to find a way for your Sim to earn simoleons. The hours for this career are pretty basic, and last only from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. for each level.

Applying to Law School:

Update: Your Sim will have to apply to law school to get the required interactions. These interactions will only be performed by law student Sims (Sims who apply to law school).

Skills:
Your Sim's career objectives will be based on developing the following skills: Research & Debate, Logic, Writing, and Charisma. I found these skills to be the most relevant for this career path.

Interactions:

This mod also comes with a few computer, phone and rabbithole interactions to add more realism to your gameplay. You can find them ALL under the Law Student pie menu on any laptop/computer.

I also added a Law Student tab on the phone as well if you want to quickly complete an interaction. Most of the interactions will be available after you have completed your first day! Some are time sensitive. However, if you want to bypass that, the interaction will almost always be available on the computer. Most of the interactions come with custom buffs after your Sim completes them. See an example of one below:

Textbooks:

This version of the mod also comes with three textbooks. These books will give your Sim a focused buff which should help them gain logic a bit faster.

Traits and Social Interactions:

If you want, you can give your Sim the Law Student trait. It comes with a few social interactions, in the Friendly, Funny, and Flirty pie menus. Most of the interactions come with custom buffs after your Sim completes them.

When you click on a Sim, you will also get the Law Student pie menu that you can use to interact with Professors and Lawyers, when you go to the Law School.

Specialties:
Lastly, your Sim will be able to choose from a few specialties. I will most likely add a few more in a future update.

⚠️️ Ensure that you have script mods allowed! (Check your game options)
⚠️ Do not place .ts4script files more than ONE subfolder deep!
⚠️ Please ensure that your game is updated!
⚠️ Not having the required packs and mod will result in visual glitches and in-game problems.
