Added 2022-08-14 14:00:07 +0000 UTCThis one is really special to me. 2 weeks from now will be my 30th birthday, a date that's had me freaking out about it for a while.
It should go without saying that if birthday wishes were true this scene would be exactly what I'd wish for. Getting old sucks, and a milestone birthday like this one is just filled with tons of anxiety. It was also fairly close to my birthday that my dad died last year and death has been plaguing my thoughts ever since. The concept of getting older terrifies me because of that.
Still, this is part of how I cope with that. If somebody asked me to show them one picture that gave them a summary of what babyfur is all about to me, it would be this one. It's about being small, safe, and cared for with all of that childlike innocence bursting forth. I'm also happy with this one on just a technical level, I really put my all into shading it and making it feel soft and warm and I hope that feeling comes through to you, the viewer.
