What's the most disappointing game you've ever played and why?

Spec Ops immediately comes to mind... 'cause of course it does. In terms of story, definitely SOMA, just thinking about that game immediately triggers the credits music that messes me up.

Oh nevermind, I misread your question as "most depressing game." Disappointing is easy. Master Chief Collection! Though now I need to clarify, what it was, not what it currently is. I quite like MCC in its current state, it's one of the most comfortable games to boot up. Something I'm totally familiar with and have immediate access to all variety of content.

But good lord, that launch... just took childhood nostalgia and curb stomped it.

Black ops 1, years later?

I'd wanna do World at War and Modern Warfare 2 first for obvious reasons, but I think I could cover Black Ops, mainly because it fascinates me in a sense. I absolutely loved it story as teenager in his atheist phase, but I also had absolutely no experience with all of the movies it echoed.

So I'm really curious to see what I would think of the game in a modern lens, as I haven't really revisited it like I did with Halo 2, Call of Duty 4.
