Raycevick's Recomendations: Apex Legends
Added 2022-04-11 13:00:08 +0000 UTCThis game has come up an awful lot of times on this Patreon, but I've never actually come straight out and recommend it... and I can't really think why.
I don't play Siege, Fortnite, League of Legends, Destiny, and dropped out of Warframe. In short, I don't really play many live services on the regular. Apex however, is the game I always come back to every couple or months, and fall in love all over again with its lovable cast of characters, beautiful worlds, funny banter, and phenomenal gameplay.
The most I complain, are the things I complain about in every Live Service game; what makes Apex special, is its ability to rise above those Live Service mechanisms, and be a genuinely compelling and well made game all on its own, without ever losing site of the game's original tone and charm.
Unlike Siege, I recognize this game as the one I played at launch, and enjoy where it's gone since then.
