Thoughts on NFS: ProStreet?

Decent. It makes a lot more sense when judged in context for the era; it was to the 2007 car scene what Underground was to 2003. Only problem is its gameplay was a lot more like other racing games on the market, and just didn't hold up compared to the likes of Toca or Forza, whereas say the cop gameplay in Most Wanted, was unique.

That's not to say ProStreet doesn't have anything unique, but it's things that to NFS' general audience, aren't enough to stand out.

What do you think of the Order 1886. A lot of the criticism when it came out was that it was too short, but after watching "Games should leave you wanting more" video, I wonder what your thoughts are.

I've not yet played it yet, but from my understanding and based on what I've heard from talking to people, the length of the game was if anything, a blessing. I think the game generated so much discussion about that topic, merely as the latest example of a greater subject, not so much to rally against the game itself.

Were it a masterpiece, I'm sure it's a game that would have risen above being "that game which is 4 hours long."

Didn't help either that 2014 was just about the time more people were starting to get really sick of the scripted cinematic shooter. People might be similarly sick of Battle Royale games, but they're a great contrast in-terms of how much freedom and flexibility they give players.

Interested in your take on the Vtuber phenomenon.

While it's fun to poke fun at friends watching them who feel pressured, in-truth, I think it's fine, and just like anything else, most will be garbage, some will be great, and some will even push boundaries. The last of which is obviously CodeMiko, that clip of her talking to Asmongold lives rent free in my head.

Amalee's also somebody I occasionally check out and are pretty entertained by, which is doubly interesting considering she was already a known personality and voice actress before adopting her new Vtuber persona.

Steaming's all about interaction and reaction, it's why most of the most popular are on-camera. People want to see someone, not just hear them. However, not everybody wants to be on camera for eight hours a day. Vtuber's are able to show a character that emotes, while granting some separation for the creator.
