I'm not recommending this show with nearly the same enthusiasm as things like Spy X Family, Arcane, or Everything, Everywhere, All At Once. Marvel's clichΓ©s appear throughout Moon Knight, but what's so refreshing is that they're not the main star of the show.
Rather than watching for the expected fight scenes, super-powers, and baddies being defeated, the real star is Oscar Issac and his unconventional journey through the character he inhabits.
Episode 3 is the real low-point, and be full warned, the final episode reverts back to status-quo, but the first two episodes, and 4-5 were a great watch that made the journey worth it, and give a glimpse to what Marvel can do when it's allowed to stray outside of its conventions.
