Halo Infinite...

Well, we've done it!

The fans have waited six months! Five of which was left twiddling their thumbs wanting something else to do but play Bazaar CTF for the 500th time, but no more! At long last, Halo Infinite's players can finally, at long last look forward to…

More waiting!

Unless you the thing you're most excited for is King of the Hill and Two Maps.

Alright, I'm being facetious, there is more coming out for Halo Infinite, and I'm also not going to question whether or not it'll be-

Oh, sorry, this is an old Randomly Mine entry I never finished, because by the time I could add more to it, Halo Infinite's Roadmap had already been out for too long to be relevant.

All I know, is things aren't going well.

It's apparently hinted that Halo Infinite's co-op campaign is going to appear in the next online flight which…

Cool?

Here's the thing.

It's wrong for people to harass developers over being unsatisfied with a video game. People shouldn't relentlessly shit on a product they already got dozens of enjoyable hours from. Comments shouldn't be an endless barrage of insults and wafer thin criticism. It'd be nice if there wasn't such a toxic relationship between 343 and its audience. It should be understood that 343 are trying, and doing some great work in places.

None of that changes though, that players being unsatisfied that a staple of the series hasn't arrived EIGHT MONTHS after launch, is perfectly reasonable.

Whenever 343 improves in their core-gameplay and design, their external systems become even more barebones.

Halo 4 had no file sharing or big forge map at launch.

Compared no forge at all, as well as no file sharing. Along with no co-op, armor colors, assassinations, mission replays, etc.

And this will be the part that I'll never fully comprehend. If the problem is content (which considering Halo Infinite's initial hype, was definitely the case), why would you deny the content machine that is a community of people willing to give their vital energy and time towards adding stuff to a video game for free?

And on top of that, tell people, no, it's okay, because you'll be relying on us, and we've got tons of new and exciting stuff like… a thing you experienced twenty years ago on the original Xbox in split screen!

I'm sorry, but if you've told people that they'll have to rely on you for content, and you're not releasing notable content, who else is there to blame but you?
