What game do you think is the best in the franchise but not your personal favorite?
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.
I've always respected the hell out of it, and it's easily got one of the greatest scores of all time, yet vividly remember preferring Splinter Cell: Double Agent. Singapore's effort had more varied locations, missions, and story beats, where for me, too much of Chaos Theory felt the same, and I especially disliked how much the meters encouraged you to pay little attention to the screen.
Every stealth game has enemies that are somewhat blind and deaf, but Chaos Theory overtly tells you in precise detail where that deafness is, and it hurts the game for me.

What's one game or franchise you'd like to see a movie adaptation of?
I'd prefer it as a Television Series, but something based on Saints Row 2. Everybody loves a good anti-hero, and good god is the Boss in Saints 2 the epitome of one. Were it to start from the original game, you could even do the full evolution of a street kid saved by Keith David, to an absolute psychopath that does as they please.
But a Saints Row Movie/Show's already in development, and you know it's gonna be based on The Third...
Ugh.

What is the best and worst part of the state of gaming today?
The greatest thing right now is development accessibility. There are so many games available now that would be straight up impossible to get made in years past, because games beyond an independent scale required a professional team and heaps of funding.
Not anymore!
Any small team these days can create a beautiful game with large detailed worlds and high quality assets, visually, vocally, and sonically. It's not easy, and many of them may fall short, but we've long sense grown from the phase where "indie" exclusively meant "sidescroller." It's also allowed people to rebuild the games they've grown up with tools those original games could only dream of, things like BallisticNG, TrePang2, and Project Wingman.
The worst part?
The coldness.
Towards developers for having them crunch to put Cyberpunk out when they're all screaming at their bosses not to... Towards players putting hundreds of dollars and thousands of hours into a live-service game, and then upping the price or removing the content... Towards franchises that get shelved for 10+ years because of one title failing to bring in billions.
It's really depressing to think about.

What's been your favorite console generation so far, and why? (I understand you're a pc guy mostly)
This is going to sound funny, the 7th generation! I've talked quite a bit about how damaging the 7th generation was in many ways, but honestly, a lot of that stemmed from the generation's qualities. It's not its fault that 2007 was a legendary year. It's not its fault that games started to get long term support. It's not its fault that Xbox Live brought Party Chat to the masses.
I've got too many fond memories associated with it for me to pick anything else.

What is your favorite snack while creating videos?
Fresh berries! Which sucks, because we only get them 3-4 times a year...
