What do you think it would take for Call of Duty to break its one game a year mentality?
Maybe this year? It is bizarre to see Call of Duty just let games like Halo & Battlefield soak up all the attention, but it should've been Black Ops Cold War. If there was any game that could've held the fort for an extra year, it was Modern Warfare (2019) and if there was any game that could've used an extra year of Development, it was Cold War.

How much tolerance do you think you have for anime tropes and Japanese storytelling approach in general and what do you think could be the reasons for such barriers to understanding to occur?
My favorite Anime seems to be the ones with minimal animeisms (Great Pretender, Black Lagoon, Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop), so very little. I'm fine with Japanese Storytelling, in-fact, there's a lot of things they seem to understand better than Western culture, things like how the dark side of humanity isn't some monstrous act of Satan but just something anybody can enter given the right circumstances. They also understand symbolism and are usually a lot more abstract with it rather than literal, I'm not always the biggest fan of it in things like GITS but I get it.
It's been theorized that the differences in storytelling stem from each nations primary religion, that Shintoism in Japan and Christianity in America are why the former's more against violence than sex and the latter's the opposite.

If you were approached to be in a History of Video Gaming documentary, which era would you most like to comment on? What would you say?
The 2000's. I know things about the 90's, but as a kid, I was just playing Gran Turismo all day, so not a whole lot of direct experience to draw from.
