Raycevick's Recommendations: Quake
Added 2021-11-01 19:25:13 +0000 UTCI've previously recommend the original Quake's NIN soundtrack for it's beautifully dark ambience, but recommending the game itself was always less of a priority because of the steps required to get it up and running properly, but thanks to Nightdive Studios, that's no longer the case.
Quake's now even more accessible than the original DOOM, with integration of its soundtrack, full widescreen support, easy to run Multiplayer options including co-op, and enhanced visuals to make its gothic art-style standout even more.
It's remarkable how good Quake still feels to play after twenty five years, so check it out to see what inspired all the Boomer Shooters of today.
