If you could race in any era/year of F1, which would it be and why?

The latest, so I'm less likely to die.

What's your favorite car(s)?

Uh oh... I could go on for ages. I'll try to just list a few categories.

Supercar: Koenigsegg CCX
Hypercar/Trackcar: Brabham BT62
Import: Nissan Skyline
Muscle Car: Dodge Charger
Rally: Lancia 037

Inspired by the Bond question (and maybe I asked this before) – favorite long-take (action) scene?

The long take action scene has changed in my mind over the years. I was one of the many blown away by Daredevil Season 1 back when it came out, but looking back, it's not all that impressive. Extraction's was, not just because it did it for multiple connected scenes, but managed to do it for both gunfights and car chases.

That sequence was superb... the movie?

Ehhhhhh.

I think it by default goes to 1917, mainly because that's the film where the long-take didn't feel like a gimmick, while also being the biggest commitment to the concept. Absolutely loved my time in the theatre with it.

Do you feel like the general quality of multiplayer maps in COD has declined in the past decade, since it feels like the last one to have maps that have stuck with people was BO2 in 2012?

I do wonder sometimes how many more things there is to do with Call of Duty map design after that many games with 16+ maps each, but I definitely think they've lost all originality over the years. Part of that's on the companies, but it's also on players for raising a stick every single time a new level comes out that isn't the standard three lane setup they're used to.

Personally, I'll take the sometimes annoying maps in Modern Warfare (2019)'s launch over the near Combat Arms Free to Play level garbage like Shoothouse, anyday of the week.

What they really need I think is interactivity, which is mostly what Treyarch did with Black Ops 2. Add other elements of the stage, if anything, just to give the level some unique character.

Ironsight managed to do a better job of that than recent entries in the COD franchise.

Thoughts on Horizon 5 so far?

Might just be the best entry yet. The game's artistically brilliant, the car collection's great, the amount of mechanisms to keep you playing is addicting, soundtrack's really good, and the small tweaks made to the handling model give every vehicle a lot more character. Really, it's just the couple of bugs that have frustrated me, and even then... recent games have set the bar so low, that it's still much easier to play than the competition.

I'm just glad to see it being a gateway for people into racing games.

The Combat Arms comment is a blast to the past I never expected! I still fondly look back to that game in spite of its significant flaws. Assuming you played it too, do you think there were any good, unique elements to that game which would be fun/fresh in a contemporary implementation?

Are you as much of a movie fan as you are a gamer? And would you ever do movie reviews in some form?
