Have you considered covering fps-z games from the Tribes franchise and did you play any of them competitively? I've not found anything that can match Tribes 2 for player satisfaction, 2 decades later.
I've only really played Tribes Ascend but have very fond memories of that game. I also got to play a little bit of Midair; I've got no idea if it's got a constant population, but the game's a free download and was fun to play so...

Would you ever look at something like Destiny or Anthem in a Years Later format? With much of each studios history already documented in previous videos with Halo and Mass Effect It'd be interesting to learn the shifts that happened between series development wise.
It'd be interesting to look at the development, but honestly, I couldn't will myself through gameplay that I just don't enjoy... or rather, campaigns that I don't enjoy. Destiny and Anthem both have decent gameplay systems that just bore me after one or two hours of playtime. That'd be a real slog to get through, especially considering the amount of content both games have.

Thoughts on Heat?
Great movie. Sometimes I go to Youtube just to watch the Dinner Table scene.

What do you think of the phrase "Never trust a critic who doesn't create"?
It's tough.
There's tons of critics who can't come close to empathizing with those who do create. Those are the critics I don't trust. However, you don't need to smoke Cigarettes, to know it's bad for you, and you don't need to make Triple AAA video games to be able to critique them.
But you do need to understand them, and empathize with the conditions the game was made in.
Saying things like "why didn't you make the game open world?" to a team who didn't have the time, money, or resources to make it so, is a pretty useless question to ask. If someone who asks that question has never created?
Well, it's not surprising.
