What’s your opinion on this social media wave of obsession over movement and controls in FPS games? Like how people lose their shit when movements like sliding or sprinting gets tuned so slightly? It’s especially apparent in COD and Apex Legends Communities. Personally I think people are too sensitive on the matter and should focus on other aspects of skill.

I quote tweeted one of those posts... once.

I'd say I don't understand why both sides of the screamers don't just lay it off, but that's a lie, I know why. The people who jump around corners making it more likely for them to get shot and killed paste their 1.5x sped up footage with Tiktok beats to "trigger" people for attention, and others like to grand stand about Arena shooters they've probably never even played.

It's annoying, because in that post, I said "Just remove sprint and prone from gaming", which seem to set a lot of people off that doing so would single handedly ruin video games.

Despite millions of people playing the DOOM reboots, there still seems to be this misconception that no sprint = slow.

It's all just... really tedious.

do you think ditching the open world and make an arcade style (like NFS Underground 1 or the Sega ones) in Criterion's upcoming IP racing game or NFS one would be a nice opportunity? Rather than making the same old open world's idea since Underground 2 came out.

Being that Burnout Revenge was my favorite of that franchise, I'm definitely hoping for the former.

It really never occurred to me until I heard another Youtuber mention it that Underground 2 really was the Resident Evil 4 or Call of Duty 4 of the racing genre.

It's been twenty years, and we're still very much just copy/pasting EA's formula, which itself was just a reponse to the growing trend of Open Worlds in other genres.

I am so.

So.

So.

So.

Tired of it.

Have you ever considered doing an Alan Wake video, since its the only Remedy game you haven’t covered on the channel?

For years, especially as I haven't actually played the game since it launched and I pre-ordered my copy. I remember being really disappointed I couldn't get my hands on the collector's edition with the book cover.

Though, considering the recent announcement, I should probably start getting on that this year.
