Who are you?
Lucas Raycevick.
I was originally going to write a multi-paragraph fanfic about how I was abducted by the CIA as an experiment of what happens when they give a Canadian a Gun with more than five shots, but it's nearly 1am, and you're Rupert, so it's just not worth it.

Should Brink get a remaster?
Yes, and no.
Yes in the sense that good lord this PC Port is hideous, and even just letting a fan patch it would seriously make my life easier. Like... for those that don't know...

This game on PC limits your framerate to 30fps unless you play on a Dedicated Server. Meaning, if you play the Solo Tutorials offline, you cannot run them at 60fps unless you're playing them by yourself in an empty online lobby.
I cannot even comprehend what led them to this decision, but the genuine requirement to boot up this game's dedicated server app everytime I want to grab footage that doesn't look like it's from 2011, is really annoying and a roadblock to talking about this game.
It's also a roadblock to a video I've wanted to make for sometime which ties into my answer of "no."
BRINK didn't need to be remastered, it just needed Dirty Bomb's gameplay.
Dirty Bomb didn't have Briink's intuitive SMART movement system, but it had all the speedy movement, elegant gunplay, and sprawling level design that BRINK was really missing on all platforms...

Problem is, Drity Bomb didn't have BRINK's art-style, and while the game tried with its all London alternate fiction world, it still wasn't distinct enough against all the Battlefield and Call of Duty games on the market.
I've talked to several people who didn't know it had arcady Enemy Territory style gameplay, because the art-style's psudeo realism.
It's a real shame, because both games have some wonderful elements that've been lost to time, and while Splash Damage still exist, even made the rather surprisingly excellent Gears Tactics, they've also made a Stadia exclusive game.
Needless to say, they're not in the position to continue their legacy, and no one else so far has taken their place in fast-paced team oriented shooters.
TL;DR
Don't give BRINK a remaster...
Give it a remake.
