Okay, this show was a big surprise for me. It's one starring a wide-eyed naive new recruit in the corporate run world of Space, finding herself working for Debris Section, the lowest and least respected on the latter. So you're expecting her to take the entire season to learn about the corrupted motivations of this capatilist culture.

It happens in the first episode.

And the rest of the show is like that with both its themes and characters.

Despite only being 26 episodes, there's more covered here than most shows do in five seasons, and it ends up feeling like five seasons of content as a result.

There's nitpicks I've got, like most Animes of this generation, the music is rather limited, and robs certain segments from being as powerful as they otherwise could be, and you'll have to get used to hearing "Senpai" every other sentence early on.

But by the end, I came to love the entire cast, and some episodes had me tearing up. It's a show that's neither a greek tragedy or a happily ever after fantasy, it's more than anything... real.
