Sometimes, when an album doesn't click, it's just because of my mood. That was very much the case with Typhoons by Royal Blood.
While they've always got a couple songs I love per-record, they've never had one that I listen to start to finish, and Typhoons was the same, especialy being the most accessbile and least harsh record yet.
It's because of that though, when I wasn't in Teen Angst mode, that I really came around to this album. Each track is a catchy melody again and again and again, while having just enough variety for me to not get sick of it.
While the inspirations of Death from Above, and Queens of the Stone Age are obviously, they're not unwelcome.
