Is there a storyline in Mass Effect you’d like to see explored further in game? Be it the First Contact War or something mentioned in passing during a mission?
In the last FanFic I wrote before going back to Youtube, I used a race that's been mentioned in Mass Effect's background but never shown called the "Virtual Aliens" who were basically this race with a homeworld's star going supernova just a little after they discovered spaceflight.
Being they were guaranteed to go extinct otherwise, they decided to upload their coincidences to a data-drive in a virtual world on a spaceship controlled by an AI.
Fleeing the Supernova,, and after coasting around the galaxy for 8,000 years, they made contact with the Citadel Council.
Perhaps it's a little too Black Mirror but it was such an awesome concept that I had to play around with it, and there's certainly potential in the IP itself.
As for something more tangible, I want to see Omega. Witness Aria's rule, not just hear about it.

Have you watched/read Gunsmith Cats?
Yup! I even use a song from the Anime in this new video. The Anime honestly isn't all the great, but it's unique, very charming, and has SO much potential to grow, which is a real shame there's just the three episodes.
I tried reading the Manga to see if that would satisfy me and personally, I didn't much care for it, coming across more like a collection of ramblings about whichever car or gun the author was researching that day than a cohesive story.
I'd see something done with Gunsmith Cats someday soon, it deserves a new life!

New MW2 or old MW2?
Haven't played new MW2.
I really hate even the need to clarify "new" and "old."

Have you experienced any serious fatigue after your many years of video game analysis? Or considered branching out into some other creative pursuit?
Hell yeah!
While the gap in uploads is to do with increased quality, I'm not deluded enough to think that's the only reason.
I want each video to be unique, but that means you're constantly reinventing the wheel, and you get to a point where you start to wonder how many times you can manage to talk about level design or item placement before wanting to run into traffic.
Thing is, it doesn't really matter what you do for a living, if it's in a creative field, doubt is unavoidable, especially when your surrounded by so many talented peers, but my attitude hasn't changed.
While I hope people enjoy my work, and I do very much edit videos with viewers in mind, at the end of the day, it's not my choice if I'll keep getting attention or not, so I'll just keep doing my thing, until I can't, and as long as I'm pleased with the work, or I've learned something from it, I'll always have that.
Though, not all the work I do is YT related.
While it's unlikely to come to fruition in the near future, I do sometimes spend my days conceiving and writing film scripts, design docs, and other work. I want to build myself up steadily, a book is something I'm always considering, non-fiction or fiction?
Whatever comes first.

Like... forever?

do you think there is a market for old-school shooters in this modern mp climate?
Currently, the evidence is no.
Really, I don't think it's because the audience for them isn't there, it's just that audience is very small these days compared to modern games. If you think about it, the sort of person who back in the 90s was willing to build a PC, setup an internet connection, and join online games via gimped websites and command prompting IP Addresses, would be the sort of person who could tolerate getting stomped on in Quake II CTF by PussySlayer666.
Now, even the people with that kind of patience, have the option of other games which are easier to get into figurtively and literally, are supported more often with more varied content, and can easily convince a friend to hop on with.
That's next impossible to convince 90% of the public on.

Which game do you think would work extremely well as a film or TV series?
I've always wanted Saints Row 2 to be converted into a TV Series. TV has a lot of anti-heroes, but I've still seen none quite like the Boss from that game, and I'd love to see something with that tone on the screen.

What are your thoughts on Gears of War? Have any interest in the upcoming movie and animated TV show?
Gears of War is a franchise I've honestly never felt much for. There's tons of iconography that's stuck with me and friends who grew up with the trilogy on 360 will quote lines at each other, but they're games that I just can't help but feel are slightly dull at the core.
The presentation carries it with fantastically satisfying weapons, punchy sound effects, gorgeous levels, etc, but I find myself never feeling a desire to binge them, think it's entirely to do with personal preference.
I'd rather be a light person flying through the air than a heavy one sprinting on the ground.

Since I'm way behind on Micheal Mann's stuff but really enjoyed Heat, what else should I watch in priority from him?
Collateral should be your priority, as I personally even prefer it to Heat. I'm not a Tom Cruise fan, but even he is brilliant as the film's main-foe, and Jamie Foxx is brilliant too.
