Added 2023-03-20 13:00:02 +0000 UTCAll I heard was "foodie meets thriller", and really, that's all you should know going into this movie; as well as it features a career defining performance from Ralph Fiennes, despite him having many of those thorughout his career.
Accompanied by a stellar ensamble cast, great writing by someone who manages to be meta without being pretentious, and some of the best black comedy since American Psycho, and you've got a film that's hard not to smile at, even when you're probably not supposed to...
And yes, you'll get hungry too.

2023-03-23 15:30:02 +0000 UTCI did not get hungry and did feel that the film lacked something, however, Ralph Fiennes is indeed great and the line "Your place is with us, the shit-shovelers" resonated with me HARD as someone who used to be a bartender
