Recommendations: Reigns
Added 2023-03-27 13:00:01 +0000 UTCIt might've been a while since I've played this game, but revisting it so briefly for a video was all it took to remember why this game's charm is hard to forget after you've experienced it.
Simply put, you're a king... though you're unlikely to be one for long.
Each turn, you've got to make a decision that will improve or hurt your relations with the Church, People, Military, or Funds. Should any one of them become to dominant or dead, your reign will come to an end, and your successor is born.
Thing is, the game isn't boring not just because of its wonderful minimalist artwork, but also because it breaks the rules on how a turn-based logical-based decision making game is supposed to work.
There's side-plots, destinct characters, decisions that give you a severe advantage, and disadvantage, and so much more.
It makes each run a unique journey onto itself, and something that makes you wanna go... just one more.
Regardless of whether you're playing on Desktop or Mobile, it's a wonderfully compelling and charming game.
