EARLY VIDEO: "This Game is Perfection, Please Don't Buy It"

https://youtu.be/O7N6On1Ar2k

I can't remember when I said it... but I know at some point I mentioned wanting to make the Patreon releases of videos the 100% complete finished products. However, I started taking down my notes and...

I don't want to hold it off any longer on y'all, and show this video in its current form, especially with how long its been that I've shown anything longer than a couple seconds, there's also a very important matter of I'm still not 100% sure on how to title this thing, and would love your assistance by taking part in this Poll.

After watching, lemme know which of these two do you think is more appropriate?

I'm also totally open to suggestions or variants, it just hit me that we could connect the video's opening about Anisa's tweet and title it "This Game is Perfection, Please Pirate It." or steal it, or Perfect instead of Perfection and ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, I hate marketing, maybe not as much as I hate rendering right now...

Not gonna lie, I've been stuck writing this conclusion over and over again, trying to find the perfect words to describe my gratitude to all of you for supporting me, even when I've been going in circles with this project, but I need to take the note from said project, drop the perfectionism, and just say what I can express.

Thank you, to every single one of you, and I'm looking forward to adding all of your names with the Q&A!

I have to say, even compared to the last couple videos you've published, your editing skills feel like they have improved and toned so much! This was an absolute delight to watch, like like your OTXO video, your writing passion on display just make me want to experience the game for myself more and more, despite the situation it's developers have been put in.

It's a hard choice, but between the two I'd still go with the first one since the video seems primarily about THE game itself and not the idea of simply making a 'perfect' game all for nothing. I know it's kinda "clickbaity", but that's also a good way to grab interest from those unfamiliar with your work and potentially build an audience.

I'm gonna click "don't buy it" regardless of my mood but the philosophical "What's the point of..." question would only win me over on a certain kind of day. Stick to the stronger clickbait choice; the ultimate depth behind it more than warrants the tactic. Also you dodge the heat potentially facing that dev who preached piracy by NOT explicitly preaching piracy in your title. I don't think the title makes you "culpable" or "complicit" if that's a concern. My initial reading (or understanding) of that sentiment "Don't buy this perfect game" is "Having zero flaws robs the game of its character," or maybe "this ultimate experience feels hollow despite perfect execution." That's a fascinating premise and it doesn't clash with actual video - the dev preaching piracy is a STRONG hook once you're watching, regardless of expectations. We all love an underdog speaking truth to power. Props on the video - fantastic prose and detail explaining what makes this game fun. Also love the sentiment that it's a good thing to discover a masterpiece years late. This video is among your best - good research, well-balanced inclusion of personal anecdotes, compelling flow in the writing, good background music (did i hear Borderlands and/or Mirror's Edge Catalyst?) that complements Rollerdrome's aesthetic rather than distracting from it. Rollerdrome on its own is old news but your recap and analysis has a timeless quality to it. This is an impressive balancing act. TL;DR: Run with the clickbait title: this video deserves the attention, viewers will be pleasantly surprised, and you're not liable.

I have no idea what the second title is even supposed to mean, while the first title makes sense to me.

"What is the point of a perfect game?" is the superior title. The initial one is basically every goddamn clickbait title on youtube, and I hate it so much that Youtubers are forced to use this format to gain traction

Can’t buy it if it’s delisted from steam ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
