Recommendations: Bodies by Thornhill
Added 2025-05-19 21:44:45 +0000 UTCSometimes you'll love a piece of art for its bold ideas, unique premise, or particular execution of one of its concepts. Other times, you'll just love something out of its sheer craftsmanship, and that's very much the case with Thornhill's 3rd album.
I expected absolutely nothing when casually skimming through "new albums" on the first week of April, clicked on "DIESEL", instantly nodded along the melody, and fell into a 37 minute trance that felt like it flew by in half that.
The album's nothing revolutionary in its lyrics, song writing, or even production, it's just a superbly made album that flows from track to track effortlessly.
The result is a Metal Record that's as soothing as it is intense.
