Recommendations: Sinners

My ticket got mixed up and reserved at the wrong theater. Cineplex's app wouldn't let me refund that false ticket. The springs in my seat left marks on my ass for the years to come, and the projector's screen was so dirty, every shot of the sky looked like a swarm of wasps dominated the sky.
And yet, I still got completely immersed in Sinners' world.
That's some damn good writing, acting, directing, cinematography, sound-design, music, characters, pacing, and just about anything that'd make a film enjoyable to watch.
I missed the opportunity to see it in Vancouver's not quite IMAX screen, but regardless of how its watched, even in my sub-optimal screening, the film shines.
