Those who saw the last Q&A will not at all be surprised by this show's appearance, I must however put up a couple of warnings though...

In July, I happened to be sitting around the Dinner table with some extended family. When one of them asked what am I watching right now, and I said Twin Peaks, they said "Oh yeah, it was weird, I couldn't really get into it..."

...I can't blame them.

When Twin Peaks gets recommended in simple "Must Watch Show" lists next to Breaking Bad, Cowboy Bebop, Deadwood, etc, it kinda sets the audience for traditional "Quality" Televsion. It's why I think there are several posts on Reddit of people asking "Uh... is the Acting supposed to be like this?"

Twin Peaks was twisting a world that I didn't grow up in, and I doubt the majority of this Patreon grew up in. One during the peak popularity of melodrama Soap Operas with acting that was the result of actors reading off scripts they were given thirty minutes before filming them.

Twin Peaks is "what if one of those shows but it's David Lynch" and all that comes along with that.

The end result is a show that admittedly took a couple episodes for me to adjust to its speed and tone, but once I did... genuinely one of the most addictive show's I've watched since The Wire, but in the complete opposite way. The majority of Twin Peaks is shockingly fun. Often, even when it's being weird and freaky and Lynchian.

It's what makes the moments that horrify you really stand out.

And the final warning...

You will not get answers.
