So I've Finally...

Started recording.

Hey everybody,

It was my intention to start recording both of my next videos about a week after the previous update here on Patreon. Laryngitis from my years of experience takes about two-ish weeks to heal from, but based on what my Doctor - that I was lucky enough to see so soon again - said last Wednesday, this illness wasn't merely my annual result of GERD but a full viral infection that tunneled through my entire body before finally diminishing.

This month's been about as fun as it's been productive, and it upsets me greatly that I don't have better news to report to you, as well that my hope for a solution other than rest and wait would manifest did not.

I've tried to keep myself busy; tweaking the scripts, collecting footage, optimizing my production pipelines - I should've setup OBS profiles ages ago - and my health has been improving. Early November, I couldn't host a ten minute call with a friend on Discord without feeling like a seventy old smoker. Last week, I survived an Endurance Race stream with minimal injury...

But this means instead of November ending with edited videos that've been finished, it's ended with my ability to start editing them. It's upsetting for a variety of reasons - creatively and financially - but I'm mostly sorry to be here in front of you empty handed.

My food, rent, and medications are able to be paid for by all of you and your generosity, and I am beyond grateful to anybody that donated any amount for any duration.

May the upcoming holidays treat all of you with a universal joy y'all deserve.

Sincerely,
Thank You.

P.S. How about those racing games, eh?

Lemon Ginger really is a godsend.

I don't care what illnesses are sent Raycevik's way and how long videos are delayed I'm still paying my patreon subscription!

As someone who's on the tail end of a three weeks fight with a viral pharyngitis that's kept him out of doing anything fun outside work hours, I feel ya. Tea with lemon, ginger and honey was my godsend for alleviating symptoms. Hope the "feeling like a hairball is stuck in your throat" part ends soon if your symptoms are anything like mine.
