Q&A: December 10th, 2025

Kelvin Kuang Asks...
Uh, a lot of questions.

For the sake of the readers time, I'll be answering half here, and half in the next Q&A - Christmas Eve - along with any others by y'all that may post in-between.

Q) if you are an citizen in the world of Night City, what type of job would you most likely hold on that doesn't get you killed?

Misty's Esoterica seems like a pretty safe place to work, but I'd also be crushing on Misty the whole time, and that'd suck... are there librarians in Cyberpunk? Hopefully cyberpsychos aren't looking for books to clobber me to death with.

Q) What's the longest to shortest song you have in your playlist?

"I'm The Money" by David Arnold.

Q) In movies, we have seen remakes like a dozen or so times throughout history. But there have also been times when there were remakes reinterpreted by directors from world's apart like The Departed, The Magnificent Seven, and multiple Shakespeare adaptions. Do you think we'll reach to that point where games could be remade by another studio, if given the license?

This question is surprisingly difficult for me to ask because the elephant in the room is that a film doesn't have an interactive feel like a game does.

For example, Sins Emergence feels a lot more like Half-Life 2 than a majority of games and even projects meant to continue Half Life 2... but it's not a remake of Half Life 2. Then there's games like Halo 4 that change virtually everything stylistically and is made by an entirely different team, but underneath is iterating Reach's technology. Then there's games like Hot Pursuit (2010) or DOOM (2016) that have virtually nothing in common with the games they're Rebooting at a design level, but never the less, evoke the vibe of those games.

I guess the answer is yes and no.

Q) Which 007 film can you think of that is bad and it's entertains. Or, the opposite of that question where critics and fans have praised it but you didn't feel as invested?

Die Another Day probably fits that first description best. The film is actually really on point for the most part and then a little under halfway through, it just skips the rails and barrel rolls off a cliff with total commitment.

But it's never boring.

That's Spectre, which I do recall getting a generally positive response from critics, yet, I was from the minute out of the theatre unimpressed - much to my Mother's annoyance after asking me what I thought of it - and it's only gotten worse since then.

Q) Have you mused on the thought of becoming an Vtuber/Pngtuber as the pool is a lot more diverse than to seeing as male tubers within the scene has become notable. If so, what type of content would you like to stream?

Nah.

I hold nothing against VTubers, I know quite a few of them, but it ain't me. Were I to start appearing before an audience, it would be on-camera, and I've done so quite a few times, just not in a big project yet, but I've pondered on how to potentially incorporate it into the channel for the future.

Something very much in the styling of Charlie Brooker's Screen/News/GameWipe series.

No worries man, I look forward to answering the rest.

Hey Ray, my question, with EA taking the decision recently to make the F1 games no longer a yearly release (thankfully), do you think this will improve the games quality and content within them by going to this 2 year cycle with a DLC / update between? Or do you think it'll just be more of the same, just while not paying a full $60-70 for the inbetween years? I've been saying for a while that this is something they should've started doing long ago with new track updates, cars and rosters. Thanks, hope you are doing well!

Hi Ray. Uh, sorry for this line of question that I have put that's not only a pain for you to write most of them, it's also question I could answer myself and it is very unfair to the others who would equally like to ask questions from you. Promising myself to not do such a thing like this ever again.
