Are you a fan of romance? And not just necessarily in video games.
Not generally, but being how invested I can get in certain stories, I don't think its because romance stories aren't compelling. The problem I have is I think most romance stories are pretty god damn boring.
Buddy Cop movies rely on a Duo. Revenge movies rely on an antagonist, or inciting incident. Yet, so many romances in media seem to think that the act just two characters being attracted to each other, with little regard to how that enhances their dynamic, is enough.
And to be fair, based on sales, maybe it is.

Since ya like cat go fast have you seen peak fiction redline 2009?
I tried watching it years ago, and thought it had too many animisms. Though, that was a long time ago, and I should give that film another chance sometime.

What is your take on apocalyptic videogames being so positive when made western devs vs eastern European devs making depressing ones?
My guess is culture.
Not many modern Westerners have grown up with first hand or family experience of living in wastelands that look like they belong in the post-apocalypse.
Sadly, many Eastern Europeans do.

What series of games do you think have lost their identity or vibe over the years? For me personally, I feel that Forza Horizon has lost a lot of it's personality, moving more towards a 'influencer' angle, where the older games had much more of a grounded feel to them. Maybe it's just me being burned out on, almost every open world racing game having the same bland and corporate presentation.
I think Forza may indeed just be a case of Burnout, I played through FH1 for the first time this year, and aside from the wrist-bands and rivals, the game's tone is not much different from future games. Instead, I think that more has to do with when Horizon came out, no other game was using its formula.
Now, even The Crew has capitulated, and made Motorfest a blatant clone, alongside not just games but everything revolving around influencer culture, its not like Forza Horizon's world disappears when you turn the game off.
This is the very problem with ubiquity, it makes something disliked regardless of its indiviudal quality.
To answer your question though (and not by linking my first video on the channel), and without just naming a franchise that swapped developers like Max Payne... GRID.
You had such astonishing presentation in GRID 2 just be wiped away completley, to the point of not being matched even three games and two console generations later, it's really quite bizarre.
