I went into this show completely blind, and I'd recommend you do the same if you watch it.
As a result, there's not much I can delve into for this recommendation, only that at its best, this show takes me back to the vibes of Half Life, and just keeps growing conceptually per-episode.
It's like they've packed a Season Finale idea into every Act.
Yet, it's never overwhelming or exhausting thanks to the cast of characters, given multiple great scenes where the music fades, special effects are shelved, and the long-takes free them to just feel like real people.
P.S. I understand why its source material was considered unfilmable...
