Recommendations: Challengers
Added 2024-05-27 13:00:10 +0000 UTCOriginally, I was going to recommend Boys Noize's remix of this movie's original score by Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross, but then I saw the actual film, and now this recommendation says something takes priority.
I watched a bunch of movies recently, and enjoyed all of them to at least some extent, one of them I was considering to recommend here too after leaving the theatre... but then you watch a film that grips you by the collar and doesn't let go for the whole runtime and get a refreshing on what its like to watch a film you like, vs a film you love.
Not to overhype this film, I could totally see its wombo combo of sports and romantic tensions not landing for people, but oh fuckin man did this film click for me, from the performances to the banging score and absolutely superb filmmaking.

I listened to the Boy Noise soundtrack first which convinced me to watch the film. The initial trailer did nothing for me. But the film itself, especially in the cinema, is an experience!
