Having fired myself from a cannon into the sea of late 90s/00s music, both the good and the bad, I figured I'd resurface with an album that isn't one of the ones I've been listening too since playing Test Drive 6 on the Playstation.
I've got no idea who Koop is, nor do I know their legacy, future prospects, or influences.
All I know, when I'm looking for an album that isn't just a classic by The Chemical Brothers, Portishead, or Massive Attack, nor just a complete rip off of all three, this seems to be the one I keep going back to when writing posts just like this one.
So if you want a throwback vibe that is nostalgic, but not a retread... give it a go!
