EARLY VIDEO: I Uh... Actually Still Deciding On The Title

For now, the file is called "The Sports Game Paradox", and before then, it was "A 'Mature' Sports Game", and in the video I mention Authentic right away and I wonder if that should be in the title as well, so I'm curious what what y'all think would be best, especially with the video for context.
As you can see from my "page" of notes, there's still many adjustments to make, and of course, a Q&A + Credits to add for the full release, but after working day and night for the past week, feeling bad for misjudging how much work was still needed and not meeting my goal of releasing this to y'all earlier, I'm just glad to have the big stuff done.
And... to rest.

2024-08-09 00:48:57 +0000 UTCWhat's a shame is that even with the corporate "need" for a "E for Everyone" rating, you could still do way more than is currently done. Hell, the old Madden games had more of a fleshed out "life" week-to-week for your characters than any of their supposed story modes have done in the last few games, and it was essentially all wholesome stuff. You can do things with inner-team drama, recovering from injuries, salary cap limitations, and much more, all without pushing out of the "family friendly" necessity.

In regards to stories transcending the medium (sports in this case), I wonder if creators should just move away from collaborating with companies (for fear of meddling) and create fictional versions of their sports leagues, be it football, swimming or even racing and tell their own uncensored stories based on IRL events. Losing a publisher/big name in the industry would be a massive blow, but it would allow for a far greater freedom of expression, and I believe there's a market for such stories.

I love how you can make a video about a topic so interesting and well crafted, that it doesn't matter if I like the topic or not, I still watch it to the end. Absolutely love the references and comparisions to other games and shows a lot! <3
