Have you considered making/participating in making a video game? What are your thought about it?
Just a few months ago, I was asking friends for advice on which Programming Language to start learning. Don't know how in the world I'm going to cram those lessons in-between writing, editing, and life, but... I hope to, as you can't exactly just sit and wait for the games you want to be made.
I am very much aware though of the cliche, the critic that goes in, tries once, fails, and then walks away with their tail between their legs. I definitely have no interest in throwing 50 plates in the air, and then being sad when only 3 of them are caught.
I'd want to work my way up steadily, bit by bit, and right now, I'm more focusing on doing that through writing and editing, then I am an entirely new craft like Programming.

I haven't played Mankind Divided recently enough for my head to make an immediate comparison to Cyberpunk's... however, I've joked for years that I'd want a mechanical spine, what with all my chronic illnesses, so if I can have those, and no with downsides!?

when will you ever make ya own sci-fi novel?
When I can focus my ADHD long enough to write a damn novel... though, I had a Sci-Fi novel idea about a women given the chance of a life-time to be the first human lead in years after Hollywood became completely dominated by Android recreations of our current generations most famous celebrities... and now, that idea doesn't seem so Sci-Fi.

Brilliant show way ahead of its time!
