Normally I try to post Q&A's every other Wednesday, however, this will be an exception, as by the time you're reading this, I'm heading over to the Airport, visiting friends and Shambles competitors Jake & Vi at their Wedding, then I'll be in Toronto, and then I'll be in Rhode Island, arriving back home on November 4th.
I do have an e-ink Tablet for writing and do intend to make more progress future projects, including my next video currently about Rollerdrome, but there'll be no means of editing/recording/narrating until I get back for obvious reasons.
In-fact, the first thing I'll probably do when I get back is wrote the Q&A following this one... so without further ado!

Given your interest in a potential sequel to Wet, have you heard of Spine and if so, what do you think of it? For reference, this is the game's website https://spine.game/
I followed their Twitter the instant that first trailer dropped. I don't let myself get hyped about video-game release dates based on trailers, but you're dead on the money. I immediately thought of my ideal WET remake upon seeing the game.
I'm certainly hoping for something like Ghostrunner or Ruinier, at least in cohesion. Things like the generic sounding industrial music and punk graffiti transitions make me a little nervous, but we'll see.
Just as long as they don't have that Revolver Sound Effect...

what's a video game whose vibes prevail over gameplay? For me, it's been Tekken 4 lately. While the gameplay was rough back then in 2001 and still is but damn it, it has an awesome vibe. Tekken 5 on the other hand controls like a dream and is more balanced compared to its predecessor.
Big part of why Goldeneye Rogue Agent stood out in my mind for years was its fun edge vibes. Though, I wouldn't say they prevail over that game's woeful design. Better examples I think would be Jet Set Radio + Future, Auto Modellista or the last batch of Far Cry games.
I'm curious where games like Limbo or SOMA stand in this topic, where their gameplay arguably just is their vibes.

Thoughts on Space Marine 2? With its great reception it’d be interesting hear especially with some ME3 parallels
Years ago, I said in my Mirror's Edge video that Catalyst gets the same grade but on a harder test, rather than achieve a higher grade with the same test, Space Marine 2 feels like the latter. It plays better, looks better, and has more depth/satisfaction in its Coop/PVP moves...
However, I couldn't help but be bored of the Campaign after 1-2 chapters, as after you've completed the first Jet-Pack stage (also done in the original game), you've experienced virtually everything the campaign has to offer.
I say Campaign and not Game, but soon as I booted up the Coop, even with just one other friend, it was instantly more fun. The different classes warrant changing playstyles instead of being John Default , you're building your own character visually and in weapons instead of John Default, and the level structure feels directly suited to bite sized Coop controlled by the player rather than a linear story-based campaign about John Default.
Can you tell I didn't care about the Main Character?

What is your favorite aspect of the game (Cyberpunk 2077) and why does said aspect connect with you so deeply?
I just really loved getting to play a Mainstream AAA game that was about a person rather than the world. There's things I really liked about the game prior to this, but the moment I ended up in Clouds laying down with Skye whispering all of V's insecurities and deepest fears, that's when I felt, regardless of all the issues, this game was special.
For years, people in and out of the gaming industry have been talking about making a protagonist "more of a blank slate for players to project onto", and Cyberpunk really cemented for me how much that line of thinking, while it can be applied brilliantly and creatively, is mostly, just a crutch.
V crying out to a Mentor/Father Figure for help upon hearing they're going to die in a few weeks, didn't disconnect me from the character, it made me connect with them. A game character, not acting like a game character, is something I want to see more often.
