Recommendations: Dark City

It really shouldn't have taken me so long to get around to watching what's often merely viewed as "The Matrix before The Matrix." This is an almost exact balance of cheese, mystery, over the top, down to earth, fucking fun, and thought provoking.
I can't promise this film will do for everyone what it did for me, but by the first five minutes, I said aloud "I'm fucking with this" and not once did that change.
Oh, and like Robocop, you'll have fun pointing at all the films and games which were clearly inspired by this wild film.
