Patcher Preset | The Juicer

I call it The Juicer because it uses compression, clipping, and saturation to help you squeeze as much of the good stuff out of your midbass as possible haha.

I had an idea to create a Patcher preset that accomplishes a few things for your midbass that I discussed in my last video:

• Leveling out and/or lowering dBs (your sound will end up peaking around -5dBs)

• Increasing perceived loudness/LUFs

• Saturating the sound while avoiding distortion

Here is the video I'm referring to if you haven't seen it:

I even improved upon the idea by using two separate OTTs for the MID and HIGH frequencies, so you can adjust the DEPTH, ATTACK/RELEASE TIME, UPWARD, and DOWNWARD COMPRESSION for each frequency band SEPERATELY.

When you open the preset the knobs will automatically be set to a position that I found worked well for most of my classic riddim sounds, but you can right click and reset them to start from scratch.

You only need OTT and GClip to use this preset. Just open Patcher, click the dropdown arrow, click save preset as, and drop the download into that folder. Try it out and let me know what you think and how it works for you!

It's actually for the Patcher plugin built into FL and it goes in an effect slot on the mixer for whatever your mid bass is on. It makes it sound louder while in reality leveling out/lowering the volume so there is more room in your mix.
