Behind the tree you sense movement. Your head darts up and you become attentive. You are no longer in your state of serenity, but now disrupted by what you do not know is there. Another rustle appears from the same area. You feel anxiety rush into your sternum. Out walks a devastatingly gorgeous girl who is holding a pitch fork and is armed with eyes that could melt any man into butter. She giggles from afar as she realizes you are startled. Her laughter settles you. She comes closer and investigates you. She says nothing. She walks onward into the house, where she becomes acquainted with the things you hold most sentimental. You follow. You watch as she peruses through your place as if it were a museum. Curling her fingers against ornaments and swiftly gliding through each room with the utmost of interest.
