Behind the scenes #1

First off - thank you for the support! This project has eaten my spare time for years and years. There's still plenty to do though, and your help is aporeciated!

Some current "behind the scenes" attached. Thanks to a tip-off, I can now reliably (~kind of) cast suits around 1mm thick. The first experiment has lots of surface flaws and whatnot, but it's also a fun opportunity to make a dark elf and try the look. Hoping to finish it by early february, after which I'll re-do the workspace to make room for the new techniques.

1mm thick is an important step on the durability journey... it may even be the final piece needed. Can't wait to try this!

Latex, yep. The spraying's a bit of a twist on the dip molding process - still ironing out the kinks.

Avalon I

did you spray latex/silicone to a form? and do you add the zippers later or put in place the molded/spray to become part of the material?
