Soft, very. It's essentially the same material as most foam mattresses. Jiggly, not at all, since the pieces barely weigh anything. I suspect it'd be possible to up the jiggle-game with some careful design to have thin-walled pieces with some sort of 'insert' for the jiggle, but not quite ready for that project yet :)
