2024-10-10 15:55:11 +0000 UTCHostel isn't exactly scary to me, just graphically gross and painful to watch...so Jay's reaction should be interesting. The other ones are creepy enough for a few jumps, but Talk to Me surprisingly got under my skin. A rarity for someone raised on scary, creepy flicks

2024-10-08 17:09:58 +0000 UTCI've always had such mixed feelings over Hostel, but at the same time I'm hyped to see a reaction of it if it wins! Especially since I just did a rewatch of it, but yeah it's...idk, torture movies and gore don't bother me but like others said the movie just feels not so great to watch (the gore isn't mainly what bothers me though). I liked the second one a lot more, I think (minus the few good scenes) the first one I try to make myself like more than actually like it haha. But regardless I'm excited to see whatever wins.

2024-10-07 19:57:37 +0000 UTCTALK TO ME was pretty good, but I don't think a lot of people saw it. HOSTEL is just, ugh, I don't even know if I'd qualify it as a horror film. It's more about inflicting pain. And quite honestly I don't think I'd put any Eli Roth movie on any poll.
