Andy visits with another old friend who is again instantly taken from him by the demon-lord Matalas, and finally we get an answer to what's beyond the door in Picard's - sorry, no, this door is Jack's - brain.

Looking back at the overall plot arc, they made a big deal of the capabilities of vadik’s ship. In one of the early episodes they listed all of its weaponry. Could they have split off a smaller crew to use it to help them with the fight to defend earth. Same question stands for the other ships in museum like the defiant. Probably too much to pack in with episodes running out. I do agree with Matt that it seems like a bonkers plan to try and fight back with one older ship. I still love the reunion with the D though and that ship is just as much a character as Data and the other gang.
