Another week as gone by, and the new update is drawing closer!
This time, a few days were spent making the Mother's day image set. Beside being a nice bonus, these type of "out-of-game" images allow me to crank up the quality, and fully focus on aesthetics. In a way, they serve as a benchmark of my current abilities as a 3D artist.
The remaining time has been employed in reworking and greatly expanding the shower scene for Ruca.
So far, three new options have been developed for said scene, and two more will be made before the new update releases, for a total of 6 possible outcomes (with a couple more coming in future versions).
This week ~40 new renders were made, seven of them being the Mother's Day set (these took much longer to make compared to the standard game renders).
The shower scene for Ruca has been reworked on a technical level, allowing me to double the render iterations, which should translate to roughly a 40% to 70% increase in picture accuracy.
Next update ETA: ~2 weeks / End of May.
After I finish the shower scene, and add a couple extra options to the dinner scene, I will be moving on the adding some extra features and fixes. I hope to be able to include all of these in the next update, but it's possible some will get bumped to the next.
The planned features and fixes are:
- "Fast scenes" that will play in place of the full version of a scene, once that has been viewed. These will consist of a "slideshow" of the key images in a scene, without text. You will of course have the ability to toggle this feature on/off at any time, allowing you to re-watch a scene in it's entirety.
- Ability to repeat "one-off" scenes, such as the intro, or the "Moving" scene coming in this update.
- Ability to re-watch scenes of a level lower than a girl's current stats, without the use of cheats.
- A money cheat.
- A couple fixes for the phone messaging UI.
- Re-worked height and weight for characters (the values showed in the phone, not the actual models).
- Better working walkthroughs and cheats.
