In the DM's | Weekly Recap

Firstly, I'd like to welcome all the new patrons.

Man, it's been quite a while since the last recap!

The last phase of an update's development is pretty much just writing dialogues and coding, which don't really make for a captivating devlog, so I opted to give a more streamlined beta-test and release date announcement in place of what would have been the last recap.

Anyway, development has now officially started on the next update, and so have the recaps!

At the moment, I'm making one or two quick phone text convos for each one of the main characters who currently have content.

Of course, each text chain will have 1 or more pictures to go along with it.

While I finish that, you all can vote in the latest T2 poll, to pick which scene will be developed next.

Also, a new T4 poll will come out tomorrow, to pick the next major feature to be developed (or to instead focus on regular content).

Work done since last recap:

• Finished and released v0.1.6!
• Repaired and released Ruca's new outcome.
• Lots of bugfixing.
• Made the Mother's Day image-set.
• Started work on the new update.

So, let's start with a recap of the past couple of weeks.

The biggest event was, of course, the release of v0.1.6.
Like I mentioned above, all that was left to do was writing the dialogues and code.

That was until I found out that Ruca's outcome had gotten completely corrupted, courtesy of Daz Studio's buggy software.
Instead of delaying the whole update, I decided it would have been better to just delay that one scene, which turned out to be the best choice, as repairing it took much longer than I expected.
I essentially had to remake most of it, as the animations could not be salvaged, but after a few days of work, it finally released.

Afterwards, I spent a couple of days fixing bugs and reading the feedback.

During that time, I also worked on the Mother's Day image-set.
I hope you all like that, by the way! :)
I believe it's a good showcase of how much more quality I can put into the images, now that I've got the new PC.

On that note, this next update should really set itself apart from the previous ones in terms of visual fidelity, as it will be fully produced and rendered on the new machine!
This is also the reason why I've started this update's development by making some new message convos for the girls.
Working on those images will allow me to play around with the settings in a variety of scenarios, rather than a single scene, so that I can test them in many different ways.

Basically, I want to see just how far I can push the new 3090 while keeping the pace of an update's development, which is quite a bit faster than that of the seasonal renders.
The great news, is that the new card seems to be tanking absolutely everything I throw at it, and I'll likely be able to simply uncap all of the settings, and fully render each image!

Another thing I had talked about regarding the new PC, is how much faster it would have allowed me to produce images.
I'm glad to say that, as I had hoped, this is indeed the case.
To give you an idea of just how much faster I can work, I'll use some numbers from the end of v0.1.6's development.

Before the new machine, I was able to produce around 7 or 8 images in a day, struggling to reach 10 even when working all day.
Since getting the new machine however, I've been able to produce an average of 12 images each day!
In the last day of production, pushing really hard, I was able to make 20 in a single day!

Obviously that's a huge improvement, and it should definitely cut down the time between releases.

Anyway, what's going to be featured in version 0.1.7?

As always, that's mostly up to you guys, and what you'll vote in the polls.

Regarding those, you might have noticed that June was omitted from this first poll. That's because she has received plenty of content in the last update, and I want to give the other girls a chance to see some development as well.

She will be coming back in the next poll though, so if you're a June fan, don't despair. :D

In the third or fourth poll, I'm also planning to add options for girls who have yet to receive a dedicated scene, such as Jenny and the maid.

Depending on the outcome of the new T4 poll, there may also be a new feature/system.
There will be a few choices, such as a grudge/apology system, the telescope, the school, etc. as well as an option to skip adding a new feature and just focus on regular content.

Also, as the girls are now more developed, sexual content will naturally ramp up more and more.
