So Aang always knew he was an Avatar, but he didn't want to admit it so he could be a child. Totally understandable. I feel sad that he has to face such a dangerous journey at such a "young" age (he is more than 100 years old though, but he's keeping it up well ๐)

2021-04-12 13:00:12 +0000 UTCThat was the Avatar State when his eyes glow like that. We'll learn more about it as the series progresses. So, what have we learned about these characters? We learned that Sokka is a typical teenage boy, overly macho, brave but not really thinking things through. (incidentally, he was supposed to be a much more serious character but Jack De Sena's voice acting caused them to seriously ramp up the comic aspect) We learn Katara is very caring and also passionate about the things she cares about. Zuko is driven but also will keep promises made in good faith. And Aang just wants to have fun, but is also very selfless. And now, the journey to the North Pole is on!
