2022-01-30 07:36:30 +0000 UTC3D animation is I think the best way to describe it. That was the director Brad Bird doing Edna's voice. There's this joke around Pixar that they do their own scratch voice acting (tests before they bring in the starring actors) for minor characters that work so well, they just keep them. Syndrome kind of reminded me of Jacob's father from Mass Effect 2, basically trying to live out a juvenile fantasy.
