Thanks! I needed to bring a bit of color variance on the image, so I thought the petals would make it more interesting. And I also like to make the water more "colorfull" to create a nice contrast with the sandy tones of the surroundings. I think not only it makes the colors more interesting, but it helps to divine the planes of the image (the marble at the bottom of the image against the background). And it's also accurate. I searched for a lot of roman/greek bath houses and they actually do have greenish blue water. Might be the color of the tiles used in the pool. And I have to say I really liked the result of her anatomy. The last time I made a really fit girl was back with Brigitte and I was never 100% satisfied with her stomach. Something, I don't know what, always bothered me there. But this time around I'm proud to say that I nailed it lol. So I hope you guys like it as well! And good luck on the job interview!

It's unlikely. The whole pose/scene was designed that way. Otherwise her arm would feel weird and I'd have to re-draw several parts of the image.

Oh yes, I've been looking forward to this! These colours are simply gorgeous and I love the gradient in tone with the dark walls in the back, the lighter columns at the centre with the warm and vibrant tones of Kass' skin in the foreground, with the cool tones of the water, dagger and her attire contrasting so very well with the background. The red blood and petals also look quite vibrant and pop very nicely against the background tones. The level of detail in the background is as fantastic as ever, the textures on the walls, the columns and their bases as well as the water and the tiles in front of Kassandra are all beautifully textured, with each being unique from the other. I'm particularly impressed by all of the little cracks an scratches in the stone-work as well as the reflections in the tiles which looks amazing. Kassandra herself looks stunning! I adore the silky shine running through her hair and the way the strands of her fringe are collected together as they sweep around to the back of her head, showing her hair as being wet and sticking together in shiny, heavy strands. The textures of her skin are as beautiful as in all of your paintings and I absolutely love her anatomy with the clear muscle definition. Her thicker neck, trap muscles, her right bicep and forearm, as well as the shadow that runs under her left arm, showing her bicep and elbow shapes, with the bright lights running down the centres of her thighs, accentuating their wet look and muscle tone all look truly amazing. While her clothing too has a gorgeous texture and I love how the folds in the material are softer at the top, around her breasts, but with harder edges and clearly clinging to her skin more at her waist and thighs, showing the wetness in the material. The folds themselves are so beautifully rendered too, I adore the softness around her breasts but with some harder edges above the right breast, with those sharper and brighter tones really popping against the shadows beneath them. Have to end this comment early, I got to dash to an early job interview! But trust me, I'm very impressed by every aspect of this piece, with the colour contrast of her warm skin and white attire being particularly gorgeous! Excellent work as always 👏👏👏👏👏

Beautiful and deadly. Love the scene here, it totally fits the assassin nature of her character. Love the expression you gave her as well, to me it's like a cocky "yeah I just did that and what are you going to do about it" look. Wonderful! I just hope her victim died with a smile on his face. ;-) Amazing work, thanks Krys.
