Natasha Romanova

Hey everyone, here's the final (late) image of April!

I really liked her original "spy" design, and less the superhero costume, so I went for a different approach on this one. And yes, it's inspired in the scene from 1st avenger movie =p

And well .. her short redhead curly hair is my favourite version =D

So here's the final version of her! Hope you guys like it!

It goes without saying, don't talk about stuff that happens in the new movie in the comments. Keep in mind that not everyone have seen it ;)

Glad you liked her! It will be available on my print store soon(ish)! Which btw, the print quality is amazing. I got mine earlier this week, once I pick them up later this week (had them framed =3), I'll post some pics of the prints =D

Just wow. As a GIANT Natasha/Marvel fan I can only say: THANK YOU! Thank you very much. It just got so great. I think I need a poster of it :-D

I have to say I wasn't sure if the pose was going to work, so I had to make a few attempts and iterations to make sure it made sense to be an actual pose, and the composition was nice. And her hair I absolutely loved it, I took a few refences of this type of hair and it really worked out. I also tried something different with her face, leaving a few of the lines visible, kinda like in a comic, and I have to say I'm happy with the result, definitely something I'll try more in the future. Glad you liked her!

thank you! Glad you liked it!

Lee

Thank you! I tried something slightly different for her face. I did something more similar to a comic book style, and left a few of the lines in the final version. It's an alternative that definitely has potential

Took me a few moments but I got the reference lol

Honestly, I don't have a huge amount to say. Incredible work, just love it.

Oh now this is has been well worth waiting for! You can't rush perfection and you've shown that with this gorgeous, vibrant painting πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘. Suffice to say, I'm in love with the colours, the warm, vivid tones of Widows hair, skin and brownish tights, as well as the man's green clothes really pop against the more subtle hues of the background. And even then, the surroundings do look striking with the light shining down from above, illuminating the steel support structures. I particularly enjoy the little particles at the top of the image, while the rusted and cracked metal textures throughout the background really add a sense of life and detail to the area. The characters look so good too, I really enjoy the lighting shining onto the top planes of the man's arm and leg, creating a striking contrast with the darker side planes and further accentuating the folds in his clothes. The hair on the back of his hand is an extra level of detail that is cool to see and I really love the brushstrokes that define his knuckles and the plane changes for his hand and fingers. And of course, Widow herself is a breathtaking spectacle! 😻😻😻 Her bright red hair looks so gorgeous and pops so nicely against the dark background, the sweeping strands of hair as they curl and overlap are all so intricately defined and I enjoy the overall shine throughout much of it. Her face looks so beautiful too! Her blue eyes are lovely, as are the reddish tints on the top of her nose and cheeks, while her dark and juicy lips contrast nicely with the paler tones of her skin. And I just adore her smile, she looks so badass and sexy. And since I am zoomed in now, the little strand of hair falling over her left cheek looks so cute, with the mass of hair that meanders with a fluid S curve to her right looking so elegant and sexy. The definition of her body is looking as amazing as I've come to expect from you! I really like how you managed to capture the twisting of the muscles of her right forearm, as well as the brushstrokes that define the ridges through her hands and her bending fingers. Her left shoulder and arm looks excellent too with the shadow running down it's side, defining the areas where her deltois connects to her arm and where her elbow connects both parts of her arm. Her dress is so well done too with my favourite parts being the heavy folds that collect between her breasts and the warm light shining from above, contrasting with the black material while also defining her breasts and the folds. While the skirt is also brilliant with the rippling folds that we see on the inside of the skirt, underneath her thighs, as well as with the mass of folds on the outside of the skirt, draped over her left thigh. The teasing of her panties with her left calf covering them is so very alluring, while the definition of both of her legs is just as brilliantly done as everything else. I especially like the line of light that starts in the centre of her left knee and runs down the length of her calf, with the ridge of her calf separated by the dark shadow running adjacent to the light. Her right calf too is so good for similar reasons with the light tone running through it and a dark shadow along the lower contours. Truly excellent work with this painting! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ April was filled with sensational works from you and each has been a pleasure to see, with this final piece being such a badass, sexy, vibrant piece with such a beautiful looking Black Widow.

This is a beautiful pinup that was worth the wait but I have to say the face is the standout feature. That face and expression is absolutely amazing Krys. Outside of your Iris paintings and portraits I think this is my favorite face you've painted on a character pinup, it sells the whole painting IMO. Excellent work my friend, and Thank you.
