Added 2019-08-21 03:41:19 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Took an extra day to add all the little details I wanted, and I have to say, I really liked the result =D
I wanted to make a scene where she's just casually having some hot beverage in the morning while watching whatever is happening out of her window.
It was really cool to work on all the little details of the image. Those compositions with a lot of elements take a bit of extra work but it's really cool to see everything getting in place in the end =)
So I hope you guys like her!

Well shes my most bonding and loved Charakter off FF XIV since the very beginning . And to say it off as well , finally something else , then the most overdrawn series of WoW or Overwatch and Co. Once more absolutely Stunning Artwork , and hopefully (wishing for) that there will be comming more xd PS: personally am playing FFXIV since almost 10 years ; ))

2019-08-21 19:08:13 +0000 UTCto be honest, those scenes are really challenging. There's a lot of body language required to convey the idea of "relaxation" and things like that. It's probably why I like so much to draw characters doing those "mundane" things. There's a lot of subtle things to look for =)

Also the texturing and "feel" of the clothing I have to agree, I really liked it. The shirt specially were really tricky to do because it seems to be of a much thicker and rough fabric than the usual shirt. So getting the folds and texture right was interesting to say the least. The socks/leggings I did the texture in the least efficient way possible, but they worked out in the end =D And I have to say one thing that I'm particularly proud of is how the wood looks like ... wood. I think the slight reflection and warm color really helps selling it =)

As always, I adore characters with white hair and blue eyes, both of which are contrasted beautifully against the warm tons of her skin and the wooden furniture around her. The glimpse outside at the green and pink foliage also pops very nicely against the warm and cozy colours inside too. I love the lighting too with the horizontal shine running across her fringe above her eyes, as well as the rim-lights along her blue stockings. That light is especially great on her lower leg, clearly defining the two sides of her calf. And of course all the rendering and details are just as insanely intricate as I've come to expect from you work! The various wooden textures, as well as the rough textures of the parchments and books are all fantastic, as are her clothes. This is difficult to describe, but with her stockings in particular, it's like the texture comes across so well that I actually know what they would feel like to touch. And the thick material of her shirt with the heavy sleeve and folds are fantastic too. The lighting, rendering and textures of her skin are gorgeous too, I really like the warm light across her right cheek with the rim-light on her nose, as well as the painterly feel to her left hand and the shadow running down her arm. The right hand looks so good too with the very bright warm lighting defining the fingers and plane changes. And of course, her thighs look brilliant as well as being so very appealing, there's something about the textures and colour tones of her left leg in particular that I really like. This is yet another terrific painting with beautiful colours, lighting, glorious detail and a beautiful character at the centre of it all, great work! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

As I said before I would really like to see maybe Yda and I SO agree about the admiral. MAN I could think of some really yummy pics to do with her! Oh and let's not forget the VERY lovely Minfillia (spelling?) with her tight bell shirt armor showing off that lovely smooth mid section of hers! Again you hit this one right out the park as per your usual and am always looking forward to what you have in store next. :-D

I like to draw action scenes here and there, specially because it's an area I want to improve over time (for example I loved drawing the Spiderverse and Cap. Marvel images). But on those casual/candid poses I feel at home lol I just like those pictures that feel like the person just gave that "quick look" at the camera, instead of those images that look like the person is "HEY LOOK AT MEEEAH!!!" And yeah, I've been playing for the past 1-2 months and having a great time with it. In terms of actual control of character, game responsiveness, I think wow is better. And I think FFXIV also has a LOT of unecessarily clunk systems. But the dungeons, story, and gameplay of the classes are really really fun. Plus, being a transmog addicted in wow, FFXIV is a paradise lol. And at the end of the day, I just don't have the time/energy to play mmo as hardcore as I played wow. When I killed mythic Jaina it was like "ok, that's it for me" and just played casually until a month or so ago. I just can't spend 3-4h a day bashing my head on mythic raids, with so many other great games to be played out there =) At first I wanted to do Y'shtola because she's awesome and I wanted to see the reaction of people. If people like, there's certainly more to be suggested in the future, because the game have a LOT of great (and sexy =p ) characters!

Hopefully with you playing the game we can get some more FF characters from you in the future. We got a good share of WoW characters and it would be nice to branch out a bit (this is coming from a WoW player btw 😉) Anyway it's a beautiful painting Krys, thanks again for sharing. 🙂
