Kayle & Morgana - Preview
Added 2019-08-28 20:26:59 +0000 UTCHey everyone, here's the 1st preview of Kayle and Morgana images. After reading their revamped story, I wanted to do something slightly different.
Kinda showing that "love/hate" relationship they had by being "sisters" (which, btw, personally I don't see angels are being brother/sister in the normal sense that we think on humans, but more like "being created" together by whatever superior force of the lore).
One bit of interesting lore they made is that Kayle (the one in the right) is not really a "good character". They are kinda similar to the angels in Diablo and Spawn universes: They are going to bring down their "righteous justice" and purge the shit out of you, if you are not pretty perfect =D
While Morgana doesn't really like all that, so she might feel out of place/intimidated.
So in this image, I thought it would be more interesting to have Kayle, in a more menacing/intimidating stance, behind Morgana.
Just thought it would be a fun symbolism to have in the image. And her expressions are definitely going to be worked on to reflect that =p

But the composition looks great and you succeeded in conveying the personalities of both characters perfectly. Really looking forward the the final render on this one. Thanks again Krys.

2019-08-28 21:01:15 +0000 UTCDefinitely a very interesting play on those characters and their body language certainly portrays them perfectly. I particularly like how you have their arms positioned with the menacing Kayle fingers around Morgana's neck and shoulders while Kayle has them protective around her body. Even the line drawing of their faces look as if you have achieved their character. A challenge ahead your you when you start the colouring, but I'm sure it will be astonishing work.
