Top 3 favourite characters =o
Added 2019-09-11 16:27:01 +0000 UTCHey everyone, in between drawings I thought it would be cool to know a little more about you guys
Earlier this morning I was talking with my gf about the story of some games and such and we came on the subject of favourite characters. So I was wondering who your favourite characters are and why?
My top 3 would be:
- 1st Aloy (Horizon Zero Dawn): I really love how they made this character. The voice acting, the sarcastic comments, the mumbling to herself, the jokes, everything. It's really fun to see the character grow from "unsure of herself" to "hero"
- 2nd Ellie (The last of us): It's really amazing to see her grow from the annoying teenager, to the important moments she has in the game. Also it's great how she handle most situations with a sharp sense of humor.
- 3rd Kassandra (AC: Odissey): I know technically it it's both a male/female character, but I played the female. The voice acting is amazing, the range of emotions she goes in the game from tender moments to agressive, smart, blunt, funny or simply pure violent is great. It's a really complex character that has a lot of great moments.
- Honorable mention: Y'shtola from FFXIV. Again, I love characters that are more complex. I think it's great the range of emotions she has in the game. She is usually the sharp/sarcastic character, which is a litttle too blunt at times, but she's not an asshole. She can be understanding and even caring for those selected few around her.
I think they all have something in common that I like in characters. That mix of smart/sarcastic/cute/blunt. Characters that have a sharp sense of humor but don't have a lot of patience for stupidity. I think that having a wide range of emotions is a lot more interesting than being those character that are "always nice" or "always angry" all the time.
So, what would be your favourite characters?
Comments
Speaking on blizzard games, I think they dropped the ball really bad on character development in their most recent games. They had amazing characters that were completely or partially butchered in order to fit/sell different stories. The (not even) support role Tyrande has, where she always takes the back seat with often stupid or stubburn decisions while they force down characters like Khadgar for 2 expansions in a row, or develop Anduin from the ground up (which was a cool development), at the expense of pretty much the rest of the alliance characters. And how they made Sylvanas the "twirling moustache" character when she was one of the smartest strategist alive. It's really a shame.

2019-09-15 22:47:06 +0000 UTCI have to say I had no idea Borderlands had an actual story. I thought it was just one of those "multiplayer only" games.
Lee
2019-09-15 22:46:37 +0000 UTCI agree with all those choices, and I have to say Horizon really blew my mind. It's not a 100% unique and new story, since it's pretty much the same "basic concept" of Terminator series, but the way they tell the story, the plot twists, how you find the small details here and there and ponder "wtf happens" .... and when way foward in the game you see the actions people had and how they fuck up so badly everything. It was really an amazing experience. And Aloy just glues everything together perfectly.

2019-09-15 22:46:04 +0000 UTCI didn't really play the previous witcher games, and Dandelion shows very little in witcher 3 =c

2019-09-15 22:43:00 +0000 UTCI'm looking foward to see how they'll portray Ellie on The last of us 2 =o

2019-09-15 22:42:22 +0000 UTCI really liked Shani in witcher 3, even though she appears only in the 1st DLC. I agree, she's so adorable!

2019-09-15 22:41:40 +0000 UTCI need to get back into books, it's been quite a while since I read one. I'm 2-3 books behind on the Saxon Chronicles from Bernard Cornwell

2019-09-15 22:40:54 +0000 UTCMy 3 pick: Rayla (from the dragon prince series) Korra ( Korra's Legend) and Lyriel Baenre ( Starlight and Shadows trilogy - its a really good book series)
2019-09-15 20:28:20 +0000 UTCIt's way too hard to pick just three, but I'll try. 1. Max Caulfield, Life is Strange. She's such an ordinary dork that you are blindsided by the extraordinary events that unfold in the game. But she's also a dork that you can't help but love. Hashtag bae over bay. 2. Lilith, Borderlands. The Borderlands sirens are uncompromising glowy-tattooed bad-asses. Maya deserves more than a mention too, not least for being the other half of the most iconic fist bump in videogame history. 3. Shani, The Witcher 2: Hearts of Stone. Shani is a real sweetheart (I had a crush on her since the first game), and the rather creative writing in Hearts of Stone plays into that beautifully.

2019-09-13 00:53:07 +0000 UTC1) Iden Versio, empire (Battlefront II) - She is just so badass, and she is not afraid to speak her mind even if her opinions may be seen by others as treasonous. Unfortunately she turns rebel and... well... meh, she's still badass but I like her more when she is fighting for the empire. 2) Laylee (yooka-laylee) - I have to say, Yooka-Laylee is brilliantly written, but there is something to Laylee's dialogue. She is witty and sarcastic, a bit mean, and fourth-wall-breaking, it just always makes me laugh. By the way, she is a purple bat with a bulging pink nose. 3) Dandelion (The witcher saga) - The bard who basically takes the credit for geralt's actions in his ballads. An ironic mix of ignorance and cunning. A coward and unskillful combatant who nonetheless always manages to get away with it somehow. He is lots of fun.

2019-09-13 00:09:34 +0000 UTCWell to be fair, out of the 9 Star Wars movies I only liked (really liked) 2 at best. The expanded universe and other medias (games etc) usually did a much better job in exploring the franchise than the actual movies. Of the original trilogy I only liked Empire Strikes Back. The "2nd" trilogy (ep 1 2 3) is a no no for me. The new trilogy I liked ep 7 but 8th was "meh" (the light speed ship slicing through the imperial ships were a sight to behold though). As for Jaina, I really liked how despite being annoying, her character development is actually really consistent.

2019-09-12 18:30:19 +0000 UTCWell that's a good thing. It means you are playing good games =D
Lee
2019-09-12 18:26:55 +0000 UTCI think the problem of picking 3 is that when you are thinking about it, you start to have those "oh but there's that character to". For example I totally forgot about Yennefer and she would definitely make to top 5 for me =o

2019-09-12 18:26:18 +0000 UTCI found Mirror's Edge initial story really interesting, but I couldn't, even if my life depended on it, get used with the controls. So I played a few hours and quit lol
Lee
2019-09-12 18:25:21 +0000 UTCOne thing that's amazing about Horizon is not only Aloy's reaction to things, but the guy that talks to you in the whole game. She's basically freaking out with some things and he's just "ok, when you stop behaving like a child, let me know"
Lee
2019-09-12 18:18:17 +0000 UTC1. Jaina Proudmoore (WoW) - I'd like to start by saying I'm not really an alliance player, but I have always loved Jaina. I love her because she has always tried to be open minded and accepting of those different from herself. An advocate for equal rifts and living in harmony with others. She has natural and understandable reactions to things that happen in her life. She loses her way and tries to find it again, sometimes it takes a long time for her to find her way again, and she does things that she may regret at some later time. She's both powerful, and kind. She doesn't let people push her around but she also doesn't use abuse her power when it comes to others. I feel like she's a down to earth person, and a strong role model for girl gamers. 2. Kassandra (AC: Odyssey) - I love everything about Kassandra. She's strong, she's sexy, she is sarcastic, smart, a little flirty (even if it's kind of subtle most of the time). But she also seems to have a gentle, sensitve, kind and caring side as well. 3. Lara Croft (New Tomb Raider Series): I love what they did with lara for the new games. She is smart, resourceful, self reliant (like all the others I've mentioned), I feel that she's done a lot of evolving in the series. She can make the difficult choices and follow through on them, even if she wishes she didn't have to. Honorable Mentions: 1. Sylvanas (WoW) - As I have with Jaina, I have always loved Sylvanas. I'm finding it a bit more difficult in BfA, however. She's had a rough past, most of what's happened in her life wasn't by choice. But she made the best of it and fought to regain control of her own fate. Then she built up her own people (The Forsaken), and made a place for them, to keep them safe. Until recently, I've always felt that she put her people before all else, that they were what matters to her, all else be damned. Lately however, it feels more like the power she has over them is what she wants, and disguises it as concern for them..... But the things I love about her, she's strong, very clever, sarcastic, resourceful, she always has more steps to her plan in place than anyone realizes. She's calculating. She's cold, but she doesn't always come across that way, she has moments where she is almost "human" (I know she's an elf, but you get the point) again. 2. Aloy (Horizon Zero Dawn) - I loved Aloy pretty much from the beginning. Getting to see her journey was awesome. She definitely had a lot of growing and learning to do. She is resilient, resourceful, and grows into a strong person. She didn't let it hold her back that she had been exiled from her community as a baby, and even fought to protect them, and everyone. She's just amazing. 3. Ivy and Cervantes (Soul Calibur) - These two are because I just loved the character designs, more than it is any actual knowledge of anything about them lol, but they have both always been favorites of mine, particularly the pirate versions.
2019-09-12 16:02:25 +0000 UTC1. Kirsten Geary from The Secret World. 2. Gaige from Borderlands 2. 3. Yulia Lyuricheva from Pathologic.
2019-09-12 13:46:38 +0000 UTCVideo game so ? I think it would be : 1) Kreia from Kotor 2 2) Primrose in Octopath Traveler 3) Nico in DMC V

2019-09-12 09:21:27 +0000 UTCTop 3 for Video games: 1. Morrigan from Dragon's Age. I liked her character development from DA1 to DA3, from a cold-heart selfish person to someone more tender but badass at the same time. Shame it feels like Bioware has deep freezed their Single player RPGs development to their own loss chasing genres they aren't good at. 2. Jaina and Tyrande. More for sentimental reasons. WC3 was my 1st retail PC game I got and I played the campaign again and again. Also loving Jaina's character evolution through WoW....Tyrande however, not so much. Just feels like Blizzard doesn't know what to do with Tyrande and Malfurion. Like the Vindicaar they're just black sheeps with massive plotholes (Too overpowered theoretically that the game basically has to hit them both with the nerf bat or stupidity bat to make the game/story go on. - I understand why they do it but still....) 3. Liara. Evolves from a fairly vanilla damsel in distress character to someone determined and independent willing to take on burdens to achieve her goals. But she never forsakes her friends and will always be first to help. A nice touch of the character was if you lost in ME3 badly (Reapers Win), it's revealed that she buried warning messages for the next cycle with all the intelligence she gathers to give the next cycle a fighting chance. Really sums up her character. Honorable mentions: Solas: Interesting tragic character with a story and romance that is sadly frozen until DA4 ever comes out. Garrus: Ultimate bro, rides with you till the end. Kreia from Kotor 2: That speech at the rebuilt Jedi temple on Dantooine sums it up perfectly. Subverted a fairly black and white world of Star Wars. Although sometimes her teachings feels like she read too much Ayn Rand. Dishonorable mentions: (Critique on the effects of bad writing and execution- not attacks on the characters themselves.) Kerrigan: Played loads of Broodwar campaign. The sudden "only she can save us all" U-turn and redemption was so contrived. This was coming from a character that called herself the "Queen Bitch of the Universe" in Broodwar, betraying and killing everyone she allied with? Please. HoTS story turned me off so much that I haven't played it till date. Sylvanas: Lets face it. She's probably getting the Kerrigan story arc from Blizzard if BFA is anything to judge by. Still time to prove me wrong but still. Also her generic mustache twirling cling on character Nathanos gets a shout. Till date he has to my knowledge no personality besides being generically angry all the time and being her lapdog- not a single independent thought. SC2 Raynor: Turns from a damaged but determined person into a self pitying woe-is-me character. Whatever happened to that vow of revenge for Fenix's death (And the death of his raiders)? Oh yeah, thrown away with the rest of his character in SC2. I have no idea how other characters like Matt horner continued to follow him.

2019-09-12 07:10:19 +0000 UTCMy top three? 1. Jaina Proudmoore I've had fun following her character from the burning of Stratholme to Nazjatar. Her character development has been realistic and a blast to follow. 2. Aerith Gainsborough No fictional death has had such an impact on me. When we reached the end of disc 1 in FFVII to see her die, me and my friends spent weeks searching online for ways to resurrect her. Alas, they were all false. 3. Mara Jade An ex Imperial assassin who has a soft spot for Luke Skywalker? She was an awesome counter to Luke's faith and optimism, with her history as being raised and groomed by the Emperor to be one of his hands. I'm kind of glad JJ Abrams didn't include her in the Force Awakens...because I personally think the new trilogy is shit. And bonus vote to the new Lara Craft. They took a caricature of a wet dream and actually made her an awesome action star.

2019-09-12 00:58:25 +0000 UTCIt was actually harder than I thought to just pick three! 1. Korra (Legend of Korra) I'm a man in my early 30s and I cry when I watch this show. It's amazing. She's amazing. Her character development over the 4 seasons is so good. My first born child was to be named after her until the doctors told us every echo had missed a very important part... 2. Asuka Langley Soryu (Neon Genesis Evangelion) What can I say? You never forget your first fictional love :) Especially when Gainax keeps milking the cow with new content every few years and the community never dies. 3. Kiryuin Satsuki (Kill La Kill) I'm a sucker for swordswoman! Satsuki was an absolute badass BOSS and I loved her for it. Honorable mention: Jack (Mass Effect). My one true Mass Effect romance! I cared for her so much I couldn't bring myself to choose Synthesis knowing there was no chance I'd survive it. Also, Allison and Lisa from Sunstone. They just melt my heart.
Alex Clerm
2019-09-12 00:21:20 +0000 UTCTop 3 may be; Garrett from the Thief series. I like the gravel in Stephen Russell's voice for the character, and the apropos quips about lootin' and sneakin'. Kerillian from Vermintide (I want to include Sebille from Original Sin 2, but I might just have a thing for the voice actress,) for the SASS. Faith from Mirror's Edge. Might just be because I wish I could experience the rush of running around on roof tops for fun.
2019-09-11 23:58:30 +0000 UTCThe only one I know from those is Lara, and I have to say, it's really amazing the transformation that she goes through in the games. Specially the 1st one that she goes from freaking out to actually hunting the bad guys after a while. It also helps that she and Shepard were played by amazing actresses that did a terrific job in bringing those characters to life. (I remember Yvone from Chuck! =D )

2019-09-11 23:56:15 +0000 UTCMan I remember the good days of hearing "starrs ..." on RE3 and freaking out because Nemesis was chasing you lol. It's really a shame that the RE franchise became a trash movie in the adaptation. The story could make an amazing movie.

2019-09-11 23:55:28 +0000 UTCGlados was quite an interesting character. Specially how she changes between portal 1 and 2. Specially if you consider the character is basically just a voice.

2019-09-11 23:53:40 +0000 UTCThis is such a tough question for me as I play so many games and love so many characters for so many different reasons it is difficult to pick favorites. Also they rotate from time to time depending on what is going on in my life. But I'll give it a shot. 1. Fem Shepard from Mass Effect. I loved playing this game and the character I was able to create and play became, for me, a truly wonderful experience. I got to be for the very first time ever my idealized image of myself. Being a trans woman is difficult at times and Bioware did such an amazing job that I got to live out my fantasy in a truly immersive game. 2. Garrus Vakarian. I am a lesbian who has never really been romantically attracted to men, but Garrus is that one exception. I want my son to be Garrus and for my kids to fall in love with him. He, to me, is the gold standard in what a real man should be. I just love his character. 3. Lastly I would have to say Lara Croft from the new Tomb Raider games. Other than Fem Shepard she is that strong independant woman that I strive to be. Yes she makes mistakes. A lot of them in fact, but she strives to do what is right and always pushes forward. Maybe a little too much information there, but I could talk about characters all day long if people would let me. They never do. LOL
Aislinn Bailey
2019-09-11 23:32:14 +0000 UTCI actually watched a lot of the behind the scenes because I was really curious about who the voice actor was. Her accent is amazing and I really like the fact that she's indeed part greek so many of the lines have a very believable ring to it. And I agree a 100%, the voice acting of Taelia is amazing =o

2019-09-11 23:15:16 +0000 UTCWidowmaker voice acting (as pretty much all heroes from OW) Is amazing. I have many of her french only emotes binded just because. French accent and french in general is such a beautifull language to hear. I think the best thing about wonder woman is Gal Gadot smile. Seriously, how she can go from badass in one scene to the most adorable person with a simple smile is amazing lol

2019-09-11 22:02:21 +0000 UTC1. Jill Valentine. I always did have a fondness for zombie shooter games and got my first taste of Resident Evil, in the form of the first game's remake for Gamecube. Up until then, I'd seen glimpses of Jill here and there, but didn't really know much about her. But after playing through Resident Evils 1 and 3 with her, she started to really grow on me and I just can't get enough of her, even though I've only seen her feet in fan art. 2. Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison. I have to admit, I'm one of the few people on the planet who enjoyed the game Bombshell, even though it had one of those too short endings that left me with many burning questions, and didn't have nearly enough levels taking place on Earth. Still, it was an awesome game concept, and I really loved Shelly's determination and ability to adapt. Of course, Ion Fury was a far better game overall, but I still love Shelly with or without her robotic arm. 3. Juri Han. It's not every day you get to see Korean girls star in video games and Juri is probably the most intriguing one I've ever had the pleasure of playing with. I really love her seductive personality and her unique fighting style. Not to mention, her exposed purple-painted toes; which made her a nice contrast to all those barefoot male characters in the series. Honorable mention: Morrigan Aensland. Morrigan is an honorable mention, only because I've yet to play a Darkstalkers game, or any other game she appears in. (I was tempted to play Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, but was turned off when I found that her accent was constantly changing through the story, for some reason.) Anyway, Morrigan is a super gorgeous demon woman; who isn't necessarily good, but is also far from evil. I can't say I've seen a lot of her fighting moves, but if a succubus as gorgeous as her were to offer assistance to me, I definitely wouldn't say no.
Dan
2019-09-11 22:01:43 +0000 UTC- Triss Merigold (Witcher 1-3) Strong of will but fragile of heart. Struggles between her great political acumen and her conscience. Very skilled at lying to others, even more skilled at lying to herself; can't quite forgive herself for her mistakes even as she tries to set them right, and just can't allow herself to be happy. She's heart-achingly endearing, and she gets all my hugs <3 - GLaDOS (Portal 1&2) Starts out looking like a certifiably insane AI, but sounds more like a psychotic, possessive, vindictive ex-girlfriend by the minute. By turns tyrannical, maniacal, and strangely vulnerable. You can never quite decide whether you want to kill her or hug her to bits, and in the end you have to settle for 'can't live with her, can't live without her'. Quite a remarkable feat for a character you never actually see in the flesh in either of two whole games. - Rachel Amber and Chloe Price (Life is Strange: Before the Storm) An overwhelming pair in a relentlessly emotional story. Rebellious, sassy, moody, fragile, always intense - all the brightness and darkness of those teenage years in which every emotion is lived fully and absolutely. Here's looking forward to many more strong female characters in games to come :)
Robert Arctor
2019-09-11 21:46:56 +0000 UTC1. Kassandra 2. Kassandra 3. Kassandra Honnorable mention: Kassandra. Nah seriously, I'd put Ciri and Yennefer too probably, and a few I forget. My honnorable mention would be Taelia. Like, she isn't that well developped yet, but I really can't help but love her. And ffs, her voice is silk, and the spamclick dialogue is cute af. (For information, in my lang (French) she has the same voice actor as Hermione Granger (nobody believed me at first, I was right bitches), so she has bonus nostalgia points hearing this now familiar voice) But yeah... Kassandra. This character is so awesome, her voice actor (and we can almost say just "her actor" with motion capture) did an amazing job. I recommend you see the behind the scenes of the two voice actors, it's pretty funny. Her face when she meets with [very important character met on Naxos I think everybody know who but won't spoil]... So amazing. How I hope more Kassandra and Taelia from you ;) Maybe when Taelian-Anduin (even tho Flynn for the win) is officialized haha
2019-09-11 21:30:42 +0000 UTCMercy (Overwatch) Cynthia (Pokemon) Samus (Metroid) I'm a sucker for blonde mommy types :3 Honorable mention to Lulu from FF10 though.

2019-09-11 21:20:22 +0000 UTCI'm a guy who goes nuts over femme fatale types, I just can't resist the sexiness and badassary together. I have many of them on my list and it's hard for me to pick only 3 but here we go: 1. Widowmaker - as you can probably tell from my profile pic :p I'm just obsessed with her! Such a combination of badassary and beauty. Also love her soothing voice and french accent, that in some moments makes her sound cute. + Great backstory and it helps that I'm very into playing snipers in FPS games as well. 2. Skarlet or Jade from MK11(can't pick one :D) - 2 of the most brutal females from the game. One is a power hungry maniac with tragic childhood, obsessed with blood magic. The second one is the deadliest assassin in the realm with sassy personality and beautiful fighting style. 3. Wonder Woman - No explanation needed. She was originally created to depict the perfect woman. Lara Croft, Sombra and Ashe from OW and Ciri from The Witcher as honorable mentions <3

2019-09-11 21:08:18 +0000 UTCI do like Kassandra but liking more Aloy. Sarah Kerrigan or Motoko Kusanagi would also be a good choice.

2019-09-11 20:16:38 +0000 UTCIt's funny because I have a lot of childhood memories of games but not really specific characters. I think it took me quite a while to actually pay attention in the stories =o

2019-09-11 20:14:28 +0000 UTCJill Valentine from the games or movies? lol
Lee
2019-09-11 20:13:56 +0000 UTCI have to agree with Jaina. She might have been really bitter and vengefull in the past expansions but at least her story arc was really concistent. She basically went down a path and pulled back from it. Regardless if she was really annoying at some points, it actually made sense for her to be that way lol. And I never really knew if they actually explored Samus lore in the games. I only watched gameplays of them =o
Lee
2019-09-11 20:13:09 +0000 UTCI absolutely love the voice acting of her in the most recent patch. I didn't play the raid, but her appearances in the zone were amazing =o
Lee
2019-09-11 20:09:23 +0000 UTCIt's a shame that both OW and LoL get very few entries in terms of lore. Both universes have a lot of potential but they only release tiny bits of lore every now and then.
Lee
2019-09-11 20:08:37 +0000 UTCI used to love Sylvanas, but the BFA direction is just so ..... not her, that I couldn't include her in my top anymore. I think they went too far with her actions in the game, so instead of being "inteligently morally grey", they just made her an ass, until at some point they'll probably just pull the "ahaaaa, she was right all along" card. =c And Kerrigan would definitely be in my top 10 =o
Lee
2019-09-11 20:07:29 +0000 UTCI really loved Tyrande in the books, but I have mixed feelings in the games. I think the character has a lot of potential but they often make mistakes on how to portray her. Many times instead of being the "wise leader" she's just stubborn. Which is a shame, because in the books she pretty much carries the NE part of the story.
Lee
2019-09-11 20:04:52 +0000 UTCI would love if they developed OW characters more. Releasing half a dozen short stories every year is not nearly enough.
Lee
2019-09-11 20:02:20 +0000 UTCI would definitely include Azshara on 4th-5th place (alongside Yennefer). I love how ballsy and arrogant she is ... because she can be lol.
Lee
2019-09-11 20:01:29 +0000 UTCY'shtola has such amazing moments. My favourite ones were "little sun" and when she asks Urianger to describe the night sky for her and he goes full Shakespeare on the description. Then she just smiles and give him a slap totally "ata boy" And OMG I completely forgot about Yennefer!!! She would definitely make a top 5.

2019-09-11 19:59:54 +0000 UTCInitially I thought about games, because usually you can control or affect their interaction a lot more than books or movies =o

2019-09-11 19:54:31 +0000 UTC1. Cate Archer (No One Lives Forever) - Smart, witty, gorgeous. Her games are better than any of the James Bond ones including Goldeneye 64. 2. Bayonetta (Bayonetta) - Strong, sexy, coquettish, glasses. 3. Power Girl (DC) - Everything great about Supergirl but better.

2019-09-11 19:41:20 +0000 UTCIf we’re talking only about video games 1. Everyone from from Mass Effect 2, but shoutouts to my regular crew Jack and Miranda 2. Tifa and Cloud from FF VII 3. Aloy from Horizon: Zero Dawn If we’re going wider, I yield because I can’t even begin to narrow it down.

2019-09-11 19:32:42 +0000 UTC1. Y'shtola, my favorite moment of all time in FFXIV was when she threatened to put me over her knee. 2. Yotsuyu FFXIV , she could step on me anytime 3a. Morrigan from Dragon Age 3b. Fraya from TERA Morrigan and Fraya were both voiced by Claudia Black which is instant win. Honorable Mention: Yennefer from The Witcher

2019-09-11 18:41:50 +0000 UTC1. Queen Azshara: She is for me the embodiment of power. Not only is she so self-confident in herself and the position she should have in the world but she has the skill and determination to get there. Not many characters have that kind of kombination in those traits to that extend like her. 2. Edelgard (Fire Emblem Three Houses): She is for me equal in traits compared to Azshara but she has a more soft side to her in that she wants to help all people by overthrowing the ruling system. The fact she is "only" second is because I like the Warcraft universe more than Fire Emblem. ^^ 3. Nathanos Blightcaller: I know a male but he is the only one in the Warcraft universe to call out the hypocrisy of the humans: they call themself the "good" ones, those who worship light and those with mercy for everyone BUT when the forsaken were released from the grips of the Lich King all the humans saw were undeads and the faiure of the humans in fighting the scourge and so they abandonded them saying they were savages and monsters and started killing them just for because the forsaken were killed and enslaved by someone. Fair to say I hate the Alliance in Warcraft from the bottom of my heart and Nathanos will always have a special place in my heart for calling out the alliance on their bs holier-than-thou attitude.

2019-09-11 17:10:17 +0000 UTC1. Claire (claymore). From her sad back story to her willpower to overcome it and the strenght to fight for whats important for her. 2. Brigitte (overwatch). From her commitment to aiding reinhart, to helping those in need she's just amazing. 3 Vi/leona (LoL). Theirs not a lot of lore about them, but i just like how they look and play. Even if you run they can and will get you.

2019-09-11 16:47:07 +0000 UTCI do not think I will be able to create an actual top 3 however here are some awesome charactrers: Firstly Aloy, Kassandra, and Samus are no brainers to me - awesome characters and obviously. However some perhaps lesser known: Senua from Hellblade Lohse from Divinity Original Sin 2 Mae from Night in the Woods Emily Kaldwin from Dishonored 2 Jaina is the most consistently well written character in all of Warcraft's history, imo. Non video game? Ciri and Yenn Korra and Kitara another easy pair.
