Thanks! I wanted to have a nice contrast to the reds of the clothing, so I made the background more grey/green. I also really liked to have the wings "enveloping" her in a way, specially with how they are alternating with the legs. It was a really fun image to work at. I really liked the idea to have the lightning coming from the bottom of the image. I think it really helped to set the mood of the scene =)

Oh this has a fantastic sense of atmosphere to it! love how it's dark around the edges, particularly towards the top, with this pale green glow to sheets underneath her, while her red clothes and the subtle pinkish hues to her skin both really pop against the green. The pose is wonderfully menacing/seductive with the angle we view her from, the curves of her body and the smeared blood adding the menace. There's also a cool contrast between the beautiful and alluring look of her face, hair and body with the rather grotesque and macabre detail of her wings with all the creepy muscle/bone and membrane to them. Seriously, you did an excellent job with the lighting, textures and details of the wings, with that being true of every part of the painting of course! I especially like the look and feel of the fabric that falls over and between her legs, as well as the folds and there's something so appealing about the brighter tones of her legs popping out from the dark fabric. Thanks! I really liked the idea of the light coming from the bottom and having her head/torso slightly more hidden in the dark. I think it made it more "menacing", like those images of "threats" coming out of shadows in a cave/dark room where the first thing you see are actually the bottom part and just the glow of the eyes in the dark =) And well, about her, there's always room for dessert =D

You made this look absolutely wicked in ALL the best ways possible! She looks simply outstanding and the lighting is perfect to for the feel of the character. I just love how it makes me think of someone opening like a crypt door and being presented with this scene of her looking over her shoulder just after she got done having a little "something" to eat. Only question is are we next on the menu or is she in the mood for something "else" since she's already had dinner? XD
